Reported incidence of transfusion associated anaphylaxis in Denmark: 1 per 300,000 transfusions compared to reported incidence of 1 per 9,000 - 1 per 90,000 transfusions. This study suggests significant under reporting of TAA in patients during anesthesia and surgery.

Within 5 minutes in 50% of suspected cases, within 4 hours of transfusion overall

Hypotension and per ISBT recommendations. Also, elevated serum tryptase levels.
