The S(P)EAR Committee reviews adverse reaction reports from transplant facilities on an annual basis and determines imputability on reported cases. Cardiogenic shock is defined by sustained low blood pressure with tissue hypoperfusion despite adequate left ventricular filling pressure. Signs of tissue hypoperfusion include oliguria (<30 mL/h), cool extremities, and altered level of consciousness.
