Possible, with anti-treponemal antibody seroconversion (EIA, TTPA 1:1280, RPR 1:2). Discussion regarding possibility of transfer of donor lymphocytes (microchimerism) and/or passive acquisition of donor antibodies as explanation for seroconversion. Donor with positive treponemal serology (reactive EIA, TPPA 1:20,480), negative VDRL and IgM).
