Decline in renal function, painful and swollen foot with discharge.
Demonstration of imputability or root cause: 
Granulomatous nephritis and osteomyelitis demonstrated in biopsy, AFB (acid- fast bacilli) positive. Urine, biopsy tissue of kidney and bone with positve culture for M. tuberculosis. Recipients of liver and kidney from same donor developed TB with same strain (hemi-nested PCR of IS6110 region). No isolate from donor available for comparison.
