Visual acuity loss in an eye.

Demonstration of imputability or root cause:

Anti-toxoplasma IgM was positive and IgG titer increased to >141 UI/mL (positive >3 UI/mL), revealing a recent infection. Patient records showed both IgM and IgG to be negative before transplantation. Polymerase chain reaction for Toxoplasma was retrospectively performed on the donor and yielded positive results, thus confirming the donor-transmitted infection.
