Proven; donor from endemic country, serology positive. Recipient was seronegative pre-transplant. Strongyloides larvae seen in bronchoscopy, following acute respiratory failure and intubation. Other recipients of kidney and kidney/pancreas from same donor also acquired strongyloides infection.
