A worldwide literature review of cryptococosis following organ transplant (507 cases), HSCT (2 allo) and cornea transplants. No case details presented but in a table they showed that onset of cryptococcosis was 88 days (26-217) after transplant in cases before 2000 and 83 days (31-175) after 2000.
Demonstration of imputability or root cause:
Some cases were transmission from donor, most were not.
