Three days of progressive filling of the anterior chamber with fibrinous exudate, preceeded by palpebral and bulbar conjunctival injection
Demonstration of imputability or root cause: 
Flavobacterium meningosepticum isolated from recipient cultures but there was no preoperative cultures for comparison. Cultures of the residual storage media used to hold the cornea prior to transplantation did not grow any organisms. Other sources of contamination were not explored in the paper. Low imputabiity.
