Demonstration of imputability or root cause: 
Two probable cases. Infection was diagnosed in the transplanted organ shortly after transplantation and typing suggests that the TB may have originated from the donor. In the second probable TB transmission, the donor was recognized, as part of a look-back investigation, to have been diagnosed but not treated for latent TB. In both cases, predonation cultures were not available in the donor.
