A 77 year old man with a corneal ulcer had a cornea transplant in November 1987 and in December (no specific dates given), developed eye pain, 50% hypopyon and corneal infiltrate. Citrobacter diversus was cultured from aqueous and vitreous humor. After treatment the cornea cleared. Donor rim and storage fluid (MK media) grew C. diversus.
