Donor 1: blood culture found to be positive for MSSA. Recipient 1: fever and purulent sputum with culture positive for the same MSSA strain. Donor 2: lung colonization. Recipient 2: skin infection. Donor 3 & 4: lung colonization. Recipient 3 & 4: pneumonia by MSSA
