Elevated liver enzymes; diagnosis of hepatitis C infection delayed by negative serology but made when NAT was positive.

Donor positive by NAT; strains in the donor, two kidney recipients, and tissue recipient were 99.7-100% similar by genetic sequencing; a liver recipient had been previously infected and had different sequences.
