Because the risk of tumor transmission from donor-related central nervous system malignancies remains unclear, the use of these extended donors remains controversial. In fact, there are few reports on the outcomes of lung transplantation from donors with central nervous system malignancy. This patient was critically ill with extracorporeal membrane oxygenation support before transplantation, but is well without any sign of malignancy 20 months after transplantation. %B J Heart Lung Transplant %7 40085 %V 28 %P 1116 - 8 %8 Oct %G eng %N 10 %M 19782299 %R S1053-2498(09)00527-0 [pii] 10.1016/j.healun.2009.06.022
