A 49-year-old woman, following uncomplicated keratoplasty with donor material from a patient who had died of a slow virus disease, developed the same condition and died 18 months later. Until more evidence is available, donor material from individuals dying of obscure chronic central nervous system disorders should be used with extreme caution.}, keywords = {*Corneal Transplantation, *Postoperative Complications, Autopsy, Creutzfeldt-Jakob Syndrome / diagnosis / mortality / transmission, Female, Fuchs{\textquoteright} Endothelial Dystrophy / surgery, Humans, Middle Aged, Neurologic Examination, Transplantation, Homologous, Visual Acuity}, issn = {0002-9394 (Print) 0002-9394 (Linking)}, url = {internal-pdf://DeVoe - Complications of keratoplasty-0457285121/DeVoe - Complications of keratoplasty.pdf}, author = {DeVoe,A.
